  • Sonic the Hedgehog had been allowed to accompany Grand Vizier Doctor Kintobor to the Mystic Mountain in order to watch over the children chosen to accept genies. However, when Sonic interfered and destroyed the Mystic Globe, Princess Kupacious placed a price on the hedgehog's head. Sonic repeatedly evaded capture, so new Grand Vizier Doctor Robotnik stepped in, using Kupacious' money to hire Death-Trap. Later that day, Death-Trap rode into town, with Totem Billy riding in the right-hand sidecar. Despite the citizens lying that Sonic had left town, Totem Billy could feel that he was still around. Prank wished to interrogate them, but Kalus had faith in Totem Billy's powers. Sure enough, within seconds, Totem Billy spotted Sonic several hundred metres away on a rooftop, prompting their target to come and fight them. The seeker posed little of a threat during the fight, but was able to lock onto his scent once Sonic escaped. Unfortunately for him, Totem Billy picked up a cold shortly after and was unable to continue tracking Sonic. After weeks of searching and with Totem Billy recovering from his illness, Death-Trap eventually returned to the hunt and located Sonic in a small city. Their progress was impeded by the monster Medusa, so Totem Billy was sent to attack her. As soon as the mercenary looked into her eyes, Totem Billy turned to stone. He later turned up alive to hunt Sonic again.
