  • Korgus was a member of the Pack of Lasting Fortitude, who fought in the early Human-Covenant War. Unlike most Brutes, Korgus was cold and calculating rather than hotheaded, but his ambitions and inflated ego often clouded his judgement in spite of his intelligence. He was shunned by the rest of his pack due to his odd, introverted behavior, which caused him to resent the other members of his pack. Korgus jumped at the opportunity to join Ajuntus' uprising, hoping that helping to overthrow Kratolus would gain him more respect. However, Ajuntus treated him worse than Kratolus did, and just hours before Ajuntus put his plan to become Chieftain into action, Korgus betrayed Ajuntus and told Kratolus about his plot. Thanks to Korgus, Kratolus was able to kill Ajuntus and force his followers to surrender. Korgus expected a promotion for telling Kratolus about the plot to usurp him, but instead Kratolus had him executed like the rest of Ajuntus' followers for conspiring against him at all in the first place. Korgus was known for having a disturbing fascination with the human body and human bodily functions, and he would often bring human prisoners, usually females, back to his private bunk for "study" after battles. It is not known exactly what he did with them, but they always ended up horrifically mutilated. Several of Addison's Solaski's friends, having been taken prisoner by the Pack of Lasting Fortitude in 2526, were given to Korgus for his "studies" after they collapsed from starvation while doing hard labor, and Solaski reportedly heard their faint screams from Korgus' quarters for many hours afterwards.
