abstract | - Bradford Trojan (b. February 2, 1980) is a songwriter/performer/herbalist who resides in Tucson, AZ. His musical styling has been compared to that of The Beatles, The Kinks, and Jonathan Richman. His performances have captured many people's attention for being high energy and interactive. He is an avid health proponent and practices yoga and qi gong on a regular basis. History Bradford began playing more refined music in 1999. He lived in Philadelphia for many years while going to art school at the University of the Arts for photography. At that time he formed a group Bradford Trojan and Traffic Jam with members of Dr. Dog. After a few years of performing the local club circuit, he went on to work with Pig Iron Theatre Company in a rock cabaret about the life and times of James Joyce's daughter. In 2004 he moved to Tucson, AZ and formed the group Galactic Federation of Love under the moniker LemonMan. They coined the term ConspiiraSounds, short for a genre of conspiracy rock and roll music. After wriiting, recording, and touring incessantly for only one year, he broke up the band. In 2006 Bradford went back to Philadelphia to work with Pig Iron Theatre once again for a musical based on the music of Queen entitled Mission to Mercury. Briefly after the close of the show, he wrote a rock cabaret entitled Our Hollow Earth based on the true story of Steve Currey's Expedition to the North Pole to find passage into the earth's interior which has yet to come to fruition. He returned to Tucson and began writing music for Gruff, a show based on the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff, performed by Tucson Puppet Works. He also wrote music inspired by the I Ching for another puppet show Across the Great Water. Bradford continues writing music and performing with groups The Lemondrop Gang, Tine, The Brambleberries, and his own solo project, Count Chakra.
