  • By the Guardians' decree, the events of Alisand'r's death and the cause she died for were expunged from the Great Book of Oa. The Guardians of the Universe had determined that Darkseid and his armies of Apokolips presented too great of a threat to the order of the Universe. In response to this threat, the Guardians prepared for an invasion into Apokolips, expanding the membership of the Green Lantern Corps to thirty-six hundred warriors. Alisand'r was recruited from Tamaran in the Vega System, and traveled to Oa for training by Raker Quarrigat of Wolsoon. She would become one of the 3600 Green Lanterns sent to invade Darkseid's domain. Raker Qarrigat led the surprise attack into Apokolips. There, the Lanterns found that Darkseid's forces were prepared for invasion. Hordes of yellow-armored Parademons had been waiting for their arrival. Their defenses were expertly prepared and designed to exploit the Power Rings weakness to yellow. A full two-thirds of the Green Lantern Corps was defeated before the rookie Alisand'r was captured. In defiance, Alisand'r spat into Darkseid's face. The Lord of Apokolips responded by breaking her neck, with little effort and no remorse. In the face of this utter disaster, the Guardians of the Universe themselves traveled to Apokolips and offered Darkseid a truce. The surviving Lanterns were withdrawn from the battlefield, however, Darkseid insisted on retaining Raker Qarrigat as a prisoner and trophy. For reasons known only to the Guardians, the events of the failed invasion, the death of Alisand'r and her fellow Lanterns, and the fate of Raker Qarrigat were forever erased from the Great Book of Oa. It also remains to be seen how the Guardians recruited a Tamaranean into the Green Lantern Corps as the Vega System was previously deemed off-limits as laid out in the truce between them and Agent Orange, leader of the Orange Lantern Corps.
