  • Hidden enemies tend to resemble either natural features or inactive machines; they often appear partially submerged in the ground or hanging from the roofs of caves. They will usually attack the party whether travelling by Skell or by foot, but some (for instance Trueno, the Cataclysm) will only attack Skells. Many of these enemies can be identified beforehand by looking closely at the environment; common tells include subtle movements, visible legs, or simply looking a bit different from the terrain features the species tries to imitate.
