Synopsis
  • Tommy Monaghan, Natt the Hat, Ringo Chen and Hacken are in a tent comparing stories about how bad the soldiers in their respective sections are when Bob Mitchell arrives with one of the Walker M33A weapons the strike force is supposed to begin using soon. He complains about how poor the weapon is, when a couple administrators show up, making an opposite claim. Tommy and Bob are ordered to take their sections of soldiers to respond to a rebel attack on a village to the north. Tommy and Bob are ordered to walk directly into the village with their soldiers as a show of strength. They do so and are immediately fired upon by the rebels. Tommy and Bob swing around the back and take out the rebels. Bob swings his gun toward Tommy and kills a rebel standing right behind him. The president's two superpowered bodyguards, Skull and Scarlet Rose, arrive. They begin killing the villagers for cooperating with the rebels. Sickened by the killing of innocents, Tommy fires on Skull. The general orders the soldiers to attack Tommy and Bob begins firing at them. Bob and Tommy run away. The soldiers return to base and Scarlet Rose destroys the town and kills the villagers. Back at base, the general tells everyone that Tommy and Bob are dead as a result of a rebel ambush. He calls sergeants Karkov, Watts and Grover into his office. Once there he orders them to track and kill Tommy and Bob, who he explains are traitors.
