A badly injured Peter Barlow was one of the people trapped in the bar but Nick Tilsley and Ashley Peacock managed to get him out to the rescue service, although Ashley lost his life in the process. Peter was rushed to hospital where the Nurse received him from the Paramedic. Later on, when Peter was in danger of cardiac arrest, the nurse assisted the Doctor on duty in giving the patient morphine to reduce the pain.

  • The casualty Nurse was on duty at Weatherfield General when the Street was rocked by an explosion from The Joinery bar, followed by a derailed tram from the wrecked viaduct in December 2010. The nurse was later on duty in October 2011 when John Stape was rushed in after being critically injured in a car crash after being chased by Kevin Webster. She and her colleagues saw to John when he went into cardiac arrest, however, he later died after his wife Fiz visited. After Karl Munro deliberately set fire to the Rovers in March 2013, the nurse was on duty when the casualties were brought into Weatherfield General. She also was part of the medical team on hand when an unconscious Nick Tilsley was rushed into the hospital following a road traffic accident in August 2013. In January 2015, the nurse was on duty at a nearby hospital where all of the casualties were taken after being involved in an accident. Steve McDonald was driving the minibus taking Carla Connor and the Underworld staff to an award ceremony at the Marbury Hall Hotel, but he lost control of the vehicle as it flipped off the road when he had to swerve to avoid ploughing into a car containing boy racers. Although more concerned over the seriousness of the injuries sustained by Sinead Tinker, the nurse gently persuaded Kirk Sutherland to book in so that he could have the minor injuries to his hand looked at.
