abstract | - Oleh Oleksandrovich Tymchenko (Ukrainian: Олег Олександрович Тимченко, usually reffered to in English as Oleg Timchenko; b. April 27th 1978 in Kharkiv, Ukraine) is a professional left winger who plays for Yunost Minsk. Timchenko played his junior hockey in Canada, with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. After a two seasons stint in the ECHL with the Greensboro Generals, the Florida Everblades and the New Orleans Brass, Timchenko returned his homeland Ukraine with the Donbass Donetsk and Druzhba-78 Kharkov. In 2003-04, Timchenko signed with the Heerenveen Flyers of the Dutch Eredivisie. Two seasons later, he joined the SV Renon of the Serie A. Timchenko took part in the 2004, 2005 and 2009 World Championship with the Ukrainian National Team.
