| abstract | - Paper Sonic is a video game designed by KittySis Inc. and Coke Dimensions Inc., and released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. It was the first Sonic game for the 3DS, and worked out fairly well with a speed system. In this game, Sonic, with the help of his Freedom Fighter friends, needs to stop Dr. Eggman while collecting seven Chaos Emeralds so that peace may return. Paper Sonic's success was limited due to the release of the Pokémon Black and White version two weeks later that year. The game was never released in the PAL Region for the Nintendo 3DS. In Europe, the game is treated as an import game, meaning that there has been no further localization and it was more graphical than average Nintendo 3DS games. Features includes elements from Sonic X, Sonic Underground, and Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM), and the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series.
