  • Some players believe this to be the best multiplayer map for Bounty Hunter.
  • The Infirmary is a metaroom created by Lis Morris, with the purpose of being a health center for your creatures. It contains tools to perform a wide variety of functions essential to diagnosing and treating sick norns, including graphing chemicals and injecting them, as well as detecting and removing bacteria. The Infirmary was one of the first third party metarooms, and had completely original graphics. It is now available at AmberCreatures.
  • The Infirmary was Natacha Antila's command area, also known as the medical hut. It was the tent where her patients, who were sick or injured, stayed. After a Torosaurus attacked the jeeps, injuring Connor Temple and Umarov, both of them were taken to the infirmary tent, to be taken care of by Antila. There is a laptop there, which belongs to Umarov. Connor used it, even though he wasn't allowed to, to send an e-mail for help, which was later received by Jenny Lewis at the ARC. When Connor went home, Umarov presumably remained in the infirmary, until help arrived. (Extinction Event).
  • The Infirmary is a location in the Shayzien House located in Great Kourend. Wounded Shayzien soldiers, either from fighting off the lizardmen or attacked by gang members throughout the city, can be found recuperating their wounds here. The players can gain favour with the Shayzien House by helping the nurses heal the soldiers by using Shayzien medpacks on injured soldiers. The medpacks are found in tents west and south of the infirmaries. When healing soldiers, players gain 0.1% favour with the Shayzien House. There are nine soldiers on the ground floor, and ten on the floor[U.K. floor].
  • The Infirmary is the sickbay region of the Redwall Abbey. Sick or injured beasts are usually sent here for proper caretaking. The Infirmary is generally run by a Sister or Brother with experience in healing, although in Redwall, the Abbot was in charge of the infimary and cared for patients himself. The infirmary is located on the same floor as the dormitories. The cupboards of the infirmary are filled with herbs, roots, and poultices prepared by the caretakers to cure injuries and illnesses. During the siege of Redwall in Mattimeo, General Ironbeak and his army conquered the Infirmary briefly.
  • During a simulation in 2153, Jonathan Archer implied to Degra that an infirmary had been at a Xindi-Insectoid prison colony where they had supposedly both been imprisoned. According to Archer, he had been lying in the infirmary when he had realized that there was little point to conflict which existed between them. (ENT: "Stratagem") The infirmary was the primary medical facility aboard Deep Space 9. Located on the station's Promenade, in the central core, the infirmary was run by the station's chief medical officer, Julian Bashir, with a support staff of Starfleet and Bajoran medics.
  • The Infirmary was the medical facility on Deep Space 9 located on the Promenade. During the Cardassian Withdrawal in 2369, the Infirmary was heavily damaged and most of its supplies were looted. The Infirmary's new Federation staff was then headed by the station's CMO Doctor Julian Bashir. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")
  • I stare out the window a lot now. Outside there are children playing, laughing, running, and chasing each other. They will never know war. They will never know sacrifice, and I am grateful for that. To see the sun rise and fall, and never understand loss like mine is a beautiful and tragic thing. Your mother visited me once, and cried for me. Tell her not to worry, there are worse here than I.

They will never know sacrifice, and I am grateful for that. To see the sun rise and fall, and never understand loss like mine is a beautiful and tragic thing. My nurse comes regularly to me, to tend to my leg, and to ask if my other still feels like its there. It does sometimes. I dream that I wander through our old house, your golden hair shining in the sunlight and lightening my heart. I chase you in my dreams, through our fields in Yullda pass, and ride our horses together. I know those days are gone. I know you’ve found someone new, and I am happy for you. I expect her to love you as I did. Your mother visited me once, and cried for me. Tell her not to worry, there are worse here than I.

The Infirmary's new Federation staff was then headed by the station's CMO Doctor Julian Bashir. (DS9 episode: "Emissary") By 2376 the staff included Doctor Simon Tarses and the Bajoran surgeon Girani Semna. In April of that year they and Dr. Bashir worked through the day to treat the nearly 200 casualties of a Jem'Hadar attack to the station. When Dr. Bashir was finally finished for the day only three, terminally injured, patients remained in the Infirmary's ICU ward. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One)

When Redwall was struck by Dryditch Fever, the Infirmary became so full that it had to be expanded into the upper-gallery dormitory.

During the Cardassian Withdrawal in 2369, the infirmary was heavily damaged and looted of most supplies. (DS9: "Emissary") Due to its relatively low security, it on occasion was the target of thieves and looters, including the Lethean Altovar, who attempted to steal the infirmary's supply of bio-mimetic gel. (DS9: "Distant Voices") After she was injured by a Pah-wraith which possessed Gul Dukat, Jadzia Dax was rushed to the infirmary. Dr. Bashir was unable to save Jadzia, but was able to save the Dax symbiont. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets") Toward the end of the Dominion War, Bashir spent many hours in the infirmary, desperately trying to find a cure for the morphogenic virus that was killing Odo and his people. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")
