  • The Programmer is the text on the screen that Conker talks to at the end of the game. Not much is known about the programmer. We can assume that he or she is working for Rare. The only time the Programmer shows up is in the Heist chapter of the game. This is when the programmer helps Conker receive the weapons he needs to defeat Heinrich. After this the programmer unfreezes the game and Conker is able to defeat Heinrich. At the end when Conker is declared king he tries to call the programmer back to see if they can bring Berri back to life. However, no one answers.

  • A programmer is the person responsible for the technological issues of the Dollhouse, with imprinting and wiping as the main tasks. Topher Brink is the lead programmer of the Los Angeles Dollhouse. His assistant Ivy is also seen imprinting and wiping Actives. Bennett Halverson is the lead programmer of the Washington, D.C. Dollhouse. In Epitaph One, it is learned that the altered Claire Saunders is able to imprint Actives, along with Whiskey later retaining some sense of this skill after the "Claire" imprint has faded.

  • Programmers are people that make programs that run on Turing machines. Their ultimate goal is to be able to approximately finish their work within the deadlines imposed by their employer. Programmers are average persons that are more intelligent than the average person, because they understand how computers work, which is beyond the reach of the average American. Whatever type of programmer you choose to hire, make sure he is not exposed to sunlight at any point. Any light brighter than the glow of a monitor will kill a programmer. Useful example of a computer program:

(VOY: "Persistence of Vision") When Voyager discovered members of an alien species in hibernation, Harry Kim told the captain that they should have awaken four years ago but they are still inside a program. The programmers obviously wanted the people in the system to decide for themselves when it would be safe to come out. (VOY: "The Thaw") In 2374, The Doctor offered the isomorph Dejaren to study and explore literature and art but Dejaren was confident his programmer's on Seros wouldn't allow that. (VOY: "Revulsion") Furthermore, The Doctor told the EMH Mark II, that he was saving Voyager from annihilation when the Mark II was only a gleam in his programmer's eye. (VOY: "Message in a Bottle") The Hirogen Donik was a programmer. (VOY: "Flesh and Blood")
