  • Kayako is a minor character in the Scary Movie franchise. She was played by actress Tomoku Sato. Kayako was a young Japanese woman married to Henry Hale. She is the mother of Toshio Saeki and lover of Billy the doll. After dying under unknown circumstances, her ghost began haunting the cursed Japanese house along with her son Toshio Saeki. Despite not being shown fully, her hair was seen coming from the walls. While Cindy Campbell was taking a shower, her hand appeared, comically shaving Cindy's armpits. She also appeared in many pictures with Henry Hale before her death and her ghost appeared in a picture of Mrs. Norris.
  • Kayako Saeki Kawamata is the main character and one of the main antagonists in Ju-on: The Grudge. She was portayed by Takako Fuji in Katasumi, Ju-on: The Curse, Ju-on: The Curse 2, Ju-on: The Grudge, Ju-on: The Grudge 2, The Grudge, and The Grudge 2, Aiko Horiuchi in The Grudge 3, Misaki Saisho in Ju-on: Beginning of the End, and Ju-on: The Final, Runa Endo in Sadako vs. Kayako, and Anna Moon in Tales from the Grudge.
  • Kayako Saeki è un povero fantasma giapponese che non viene lasciato in pace da nessuno, tanto che è costretto (anzi, costretta, in quanto donna) a difendere la sua privacy e quella di suo figlio con sistemi certamente poco ortodossi.
  • She was created by director Takashi Shimizu. She represents a popular antagonist in Japanese culture, the vengeful ghost (Onryō). She is typically characterized by long dark hair covering her face, twisted movements with crunching neckbones and a haunting croaking sound from her mouth. She first appeared in Shimizu's short movie Katasumi and spends the whole Ju-On series haunting a house in Nerima, Japan. She is one of the fulfillers of the Ju-On curse, which states that when someone dies in a state of intense rage, those feelings remain at the death site and kill whoever it touches.
  • Kayako Saeki (née Kawamata) is an Onryō and the central antagonist of the Japanese horror film Ju-On and its American counterpart, The Grudge. Her age at the time of her death is debatable, and she has been reported as being both 28 and 30 at the time of her murder.

She was married to Takeo Saeki and had a child, Toshio Saeki, but had fallen madly in love with a teacher (Japanese teacher Shunsuke Kobayashi or American professor Peter Kirk, depending on the telling). Her pet cat was named Kuro. Unfortunately, it was her obsession with Professor that caused her disgraced husband to strangle her to death, drown both Toshio and Kuro, and finally hang himself, transforming the entire family into vengeful ghosts.
