When they arrived, the two were under fire from a Jaffa patrol. O'Neill and Teal'c used the Al'kesh to drive off the Jaffa. After Carter and Felger were finished repairing the Stargate network, O'Neill and Teal'c flew the ship to Earth. (SG1: "Avenger 2.0")

(SG1: "Avenger 2.0") A few months later, the Al'kesh was taken to the planet Tagrea and the hyperdrive was transferred to the Prometheus in order to get it back to Earth. Despite the hyperdrive being designed for a ship much smaller than the Prometheus it was able to get the ship home. What happened to the remainder of the ship is unknown. (SG1: "Grace")
