  • The Sword in the Stone is a side quest in Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Fable Anniversary. It is brought to your attention when reaching the Temple of Avo. There will be a group of men gathered at the top of the hill overlooking the temple, trying to free an ornate sword which is embedded in the rock. This is the Harbinger, the legendary longsword of Huw the Giant, and the object of the quest is to obtain it.
