In general, pocket monsters resurrected from fossils can almost always be found in the wild, while the others have a larger chance of being extinct in certain cases. The generation has been split into several forms of media, making it a multimedia project of sorts. The first are Pokémon Aether and Nether Versions, quickly followed by Pokémon Tether Version. These follow the general formula of the Pokémon games, in which a young trainer sets out on their journey along the three areas, hoping to conquer the Xeno League, Battle Frontier, and become a Pokémon Rounin before taking on the Elite Four and Champion. In lieu of a Pokémon Adventures chapter, the ongoing series Pokémon ANT has been created. This follows the adventures of three trainers: Sage, Celeste, and Rufous, as they travel across the Xeno region and its assorted territories in order to fulfill their own dreams. ANT aims to capture the spirit and overall feel of the Pokémon Special manga while also being unafraid to try out new ideas, or incorporate elements from another bits of media in the franchise.
