  • The flag of Kurgan Oblast, Russia, is a rectangular sheet, with width/length proportions 1:2, divided horizontally into three equal stripes of white, emerald (green) and white. In the central part of the emerald (green) stripe is the kurgan emblem from the coat of arms of the oblast: two silver kurgans (mounds), one behind the other, the silhouettes of the kurgans separated with emerald contour. The reverse of the flag is a mirror image of its obverse.
