  • The Asklon Model-18 BOAR Light Support/Wheeled Multirole Platform (known more commonly as the Boar) was a model of lightweight military vehicle manufactured by AMG Transport Dynamics. First introduced to the arsenal of the United Nations Space Command in 2573, it was the highly acclaimed successor to the legendary M12 Warthog, the latter serving an additional fourteen years after the Boar's battlefield debut. Not long after its unveiling, varying numbers of the Model 18 made their way into the grasps of various other factions including (but not limited to) the United Rebel Front, Koch Republik, Viceroy Federation, the Tradesman's Alliance, and Haverson Defense, among many others.

As with a number of other notable models in use with the UNSC, the Boar served for a rather lengthy career of ninety-eight years, though it had become secondary to other vehicles during the mid twenty-seventh century. This lengthy service duration was only achieved through almost a dozen unique iterations of the Boar.
