- The main melody of this song starts on the harp; drums and slow strings make up the rhythm. Shortly into the song, bells take over for the melody temporarily before returning it to the harp; the bells continue playing as harmony. - Frostbite was the medical condition where localized damage was caused to skin and other tissues due to extreme cold. Frostbite was most likely to happen in body parts farthest from the heart and those with large exposed areas. Treatment of frostbite centered on the rewarming of the affected tissue. Excessive movement of frostbitten tissue could cause ice crystals that had formed in the tissue to do further damage. Splinting and/or wrapping frostbitten extremities was therefore recommended to prevent such movement. For this reason, rubbing, massaging, shaking, or otherwise applying physical force to frostbitten tissues in an attempt to rewarm them could have been harmful. Caution should have been taken not to rapidly warm up the affected area until further refreezing is prevented.
- Frostbite is a MOD in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. As with many MODs, only one copy of it can be equipped at a time. - Effect: Delays turn order. Changes to Freeze status when hit by a freezing attack.
- Frostbite is caused by exposure of exposed areas of skin and other tissues that are separated by distance from the heart to cold or high wind. In order to preserve core body temperature, the body reacts by restricting blood flow to the extremities such as the skin, fingers and toes. Over short periods of time, this results in "frostnip", a temporary condition which causes numbness, itching and pain, but no permanent damage. However, as exposure increases, exterior tissues may harden, although interior tissues remain normal. This can cause damage to the skin that resembles that of a burn, such as peeling and ulceration. However in severe cases, the inner tissues lose blood flow resulting in damage to muscle, nerves, tendons and blood vessels. This may require amputation.
- Frostbite was an MDoAP, consisting of the New Polar Order, The New Sith Order, The Siberian Tiger Alliance and The Liquor Cabinet. All of the signatories were lead by former (or current) Emperors of the New Polar Order. The treaty was signed on May 25th, 2009 and was announced on the forums the same day. The Liquor Cabinet disbanded on September 24th, 2009, effectively removing them from Frostbite. On January 1st, 2010, The Siberian Tiger Alliance withdrew from the bloc, cancelled their Ordinance of Disorder MDP treaty with NSO, and upgraded their MDP with NpO to an MDoAP. Shortly after STA withdrew from Frostbite, The New Polar Order and The New Sith Order decided that "The circumstances under which Frostbite was formed have changed considerably and with the withdrawal of a second allianc
- Frostbite "Frosty" (no real name known) has a psychokinetic talent attuned to water molecules. She can suck the energy out of them. She has essentially no control, and her energy drain tends to turn everything around her to ice. She's susceptible to the cold, so she's been out sick a lot, which has impacted upon her math skills. Her backstory places her as a sophomore, based upon time at Whateley. She has a cat plushie named Mister Mew-Mew. She dreams of living someplace hot and dry, like the Mojave Desert. She built an ice wall to block Spoof's monsters when they attacked.
- It's highly likely that one's first meeting of Frostbite would be when they are made targets of one of his 'practice' ambushes, with him pouncing on them out of nowhere yet anywhere. He is skilled in creating and executing ambushes, as well as camouflaging himself in any winter-like climate. His attitude mirrors the cold climate he prefers--calm and level-headed, if not a touch feral at times, but he can become as fierce as a blizzard when finally provoked. He transforms from cassette to a robotic Smilodon form, which relies on his powerful claws and fangs for attack--although he has a laser gun installed in his back for long-range engagements. However, due to his reliance on ambushes and close-range engagements, he is weak in long-range fights. He also hates fire and warm climates, and ha
- Born in London, England, in 1979, Katherine Marie Ansley is nobility. Her mother and father were knighted for their work in Physics and Chemistry, and she’s descended from a few Dukes and Earls on both of her parents’ sides. Kate was brought up in a strict household where manners were sacred and rules had to be followed. She was raised to treat waste as abhorrence and to always obey one’s elders. Raised in this atmosphere, it is easy to see why she has a much more carefree attitude now. While she is more light spirited than how she used to be as a child, she still maintains that rules are rules for a reason, and that one has to have one’s manners about them at all times.

- Frostbite is the 139th level in Chip's Challenge Level Pack 2. On Frostbite, Tyrethali Ansrath proves that less is often more, as many of his compositions are straightforward and take influence from ideas in CC1, given that his set was one of the earliest. To win it, Chip has to collect four identical, but rotated, sections of chips which give way to ice, making it difficult to figure out what order to collect the chips in in order to get all of them. While this is fundamentally not that difficult, this challenge has proven to hang up even high-level players.
- Frostbite was born in Galena, AK, where summer is a myth and a crowd consists of two people standing on the same acre. He worked briefly as a lineman on the pipeline but found the job unchallenging despite the 40-below-zero temperatures and hazardous conditions. Qualified expert: M-16, M1911A1 Auto Pistol, M-2 .50 caliber MG, and M-60 7.62 mm MG. He's also quite proficient with a 30mm Autocannon.

- From within the howling grasp of leaf-bare came an eerie, plaintive cry over the winds rampaging through the cave. Wind and snow swirled about in the dip between the mountains. The trees were coated with snow, creating a bleak, forbidding atmosphere. The cries of broken birds echoed between the stones as they plummeted over the mountains' cliffs to their doom in the deep valleys below. The snow kept falling, an endless whisper of white that blotted out the land in its entirety. It was the loneliest thing I've ever encountered. "No!" the tom called back firmly. "We will see this out to the end!"

- The main melody of this song starts on the harp; drums and slow strings make up the rhythm. Shortly into the song, bells take over for the melody temporarily before returning it to the harp; the bells continue playing as harmony. Near the middle of the piece, the mood temporarily changes from its original slow, soft feel to an eerie unresolved section.

Three cats stood at the mouth of the cave, squinting against the blizzard and trying to see what was beyond their line of sight. They knew it was futile, but they had to try. It was their duty, as loyal members of FrostClan, to try. After all, their failure was the one thing that Spiralstar could not condone. "Is there anything out there?" the pale blue-gray tom shouted. "Silentcry, can you see anything?" "I'm so sorry, Fragmentlight," the small blue-gray she-cat cried back, the cold air freezing the tears onto her cheeks. "I can't see anything! I can't tell what's out there!" "Then why are we even out here?" the long-legged, limber white tom hissed. "If Silentcry can't see in this weather, what chance do we have? FrostClan is doomed!" "Shut up, Flickerflight," Fragmentlight snapped. "Just shut up and do your job! Even if we only notice when they're almost upon us, we'll sound the alarm and fight to the death! It's our duty as blizzard guards to defend the Clan until the end!" "I can't stand this for much longer," Silentcry wailed. "I'm going to die of the cold! Fragmentlight, please!" "No!" the tom called back firmly. "We will see this out to the end!" Then the snow started falling more thickly, and I couldn't see them anymore. That was the last time I ever saw those three unfortunate cats alive. "Snowpa-" I look back over my shoulder as a snow-white tom comes running up towards me. "Sorry, what was that?" I tease. "Sorry, sorry, Snowfall," he apologizes, ducking his head in that way of his. "It's a habit," he protests when I snort at him. "Like you've never called a new warrior by their old apprentice name before!" "Me? Never!" I dig my paws into the snow, flicking it up at him in one solid motion. It covers his face and he sneezes, looking indignant as he shakes his head, trying to get it all off his face. "It's c-cold," he shivers, gasping as he prances about, shaking as much snow as possible out of his fur. "That was a little mean, y'know, Snowfall." "Sorry, Iciclepaw." I purr to myself as he glares at me, clearly still mad that Glacierstar made me a warrior and not him. "It's just snow. You should be used to it by now." "It's still cold," he grumbles, turning away from me and heading deeper into the cave. I watch him go with a small twinge of sorrow. "Snowfall!" A snappish voice interrupts my thoughts. I whirl around hastily, finding myself nose-to-nose with Crystalstorm just as I knew I would. "Hello, Crystalstorm," I meow sheepishly. "Do you need me for something, or...?" Crystalstorm snorts. "Foolish little cat," she hisses. "You were supposed to go with us for highrock watch this morning!" "Oh, hawks and frostbite, I forgot!" I wince, realizing that I have indeed forgotten one of the most important tasks a FrostClan cat can have. "It's my first time, so I'm sure it'll be okay-" "It's not okay!" Crystalstorm retorts incredulously. "We were going to teach you everything about the highrock watch; we may never have another chance if the storms pick up like they have been lately! You stupid, stupid little..." She breaks off into a stream of muttered words that I can't quite hear. "I'm sorry," I whisper. "You'd better be," Crystalstorm warns. "Because if you're not, I'll personally put a claw through your ear next time I see you making dazzled eyes at your little apprentice friend there." "I am not making dazzled eyes at him!" I protest. "He's a good friend of mine and I can't wait until we're warriors together, that's all!" "Of course," Crystalstorm replies sarcastically. "I'll just leave you to it, then, shall I?" She bumps me roughly on the shoulder. "Make it up to your Clanmates by leaving with the next scout-hunters' patrol and catching us a falcon or something." With that, she stalks away from me, her gaze aimed at a pair of noisy apprentices who are squabbling farther back in the cave. I sigh. How could I have forgotten the highrock watch? But there's not much I can do about that now, so I settle down near the entrance of the cave, tucked against a wall so that I'm just barely out of the wind's furious reach, to wait for the next patrol. I feel bad about what I did to them. "He's - dead?" the silvery-gray she-cat choked out. "Flickerflight is - dead?" "I'm so sorry, Icewing." The pure white tom beside her looked like he wanted to cry, be sick, or both as his bright blue eyes flickered back and forth between his companions - one living, the other dead. The body of Flickerflight, with its gray fur ruffled every which way and its neck snapped irreparably, was definitely a gruesome sight to behold. "I'm so sorry...!" "Sorry doesn't bring back my kit - my only kit!" Icewing's voice rose into a piercing wail, and she keened with grief as she buried her nose into his fur. "And now he's dead - all because of those ice monsters!" Her eyes were alight with a wild, mad sort of fire. "I'll kill them," she swore hysterically. "I'll kill all of them!" Her friend could only watch as she wandered blindly out into the cold beyond the cave. Throughout the next horrifying moons, she did indeed track down and kill most of the so-called "ice monsters". Her methods were brutal, her mindset ruthless. But despite all her best efforts, she never found me. I guess I should be glad for that.

Shortly after STA withdrew from Frostbite, The New Polar Order and The New Sith Order decided that "The circumstances under which Frostbite was formed have changed considerably and with the withdrawal of a second alliance from the bloc it now seems prudent to cancel the treaty and end the Pact." Frostbite was cancelled on The 1st of January 2010.

- It works similarly to Poison, except that it is much more deadly, as it deals damages more often. It can be cured by drinking some Hot soup.
He also hates fire and warm climates, and has a fear of being caged.
- Frostbite is a heavyweight robot which competed in Series 9 of Robot Wars. It is entered by a team of thirteen-year old students and their technology teacher, having built the robot in an after-school club. Qualified expert: M-16, M1911A1 Auto Pistol, M-2 .50 caliber MG, and M-60 7.62 mm MG. He's also quite proficient with a 30mm Autocannon. "Frostbite has to be cool. The environment he works in is too unforgiving. If his Ice Dagger throws a piston, he's got to step out into weather that'll freeze a hex-wrench to bare skin in 5 seconds and carry through a repair job that would be taxing under ideal conditions. He can't afford to panic. Not if he wants to stay alive."

- Frostbite (congelatio in medical terminology) is the medical condition wherein localized damage is caused to skin and other tissues due to extreme cold. Frostbite is most likely to happen in body parts farthest from the heart and those with a lot of surface area exposed to cold. The initial stages of frostbite are sometimes called "frostnip". Mountains or high altitudes with snow are often where the most serious cases of frostbite occur.
Mild cases respond well to natural rewarming - returning the patient to a warm environment and letting the temperature of the affected tissues return to normal. Blankets are usually helpful. However, frostbite often accompanies hypothermia and in such cases intensive care is required no matter what the course of treatment. Care must be taken with rapid rewarming as blood may flow quickly out of the core to the peripheries and actually result in core body temperature dropping even as the extremities warm up. In Perils of Paranoia, Ethan comes to the clinic thinking he has frostbite when in fact his fingertips have been discolored by silver nitrate.

She had a few friends growing up, amongst the children in the social circles that her parents were in. For the most part though, she was a lonely child growing up in England. She couldn’t wait to get out from underneath her overbearing parents and explore the world. That isn’t to say that she didn’t love her parents, for she did, but she wanted to be able to make her own decisions and her own mistakes. Kate progressed through school at a normal pace, and took an interest in the human body at an early age. Her parents were thrilled when she declared at age fourteen that she was going to become a doctor. She didn’t realize how her extracurricular activities were going to shift however. Her parents had noticed that she was a rather shy child. They had enrolled her in a dance school to help her combat this. When she decided to become a doctor, her parents immediately began to put her into groups and clubs that would foster relationships with people who would become her peers in the medical community. She went along with the changes in order to please her parents. However, she did force a compromise with them. She would still be able to pursue dance as an extracurricular activity. Kate is an accomplished ballroom dancer, but also knows how to samba, tango, and salsa. Much to her mother's chagrin, she picked up belly dancing along the way, knowing that the flat out sexuality of the dance would do much more to make her a bolder person than the foxtrot or the waltz. She also started helping her parents in their labs in order to get a better understanding of medical research as she was also considering that avenue instead of being a normal physician. It was at her parent’s lab one day during her sixteenth birthday that tragedy struck and changed Katherine’s life forever.

She has to stay pretty close to her room in Hawthorne Cottage, and take classes by remote. Her room is equipped with industrial grade dehumidifiers to help prevent ice buildup. Unfortunately, the fire suppression system is water sprinklers, resulting in her room being coated in ice on all surfaces when Olympia had an electrical storm seizure. She has a cat plushie named Mister Mew-Mew. She dreams of living someplace hot and dry, like the Mojave Desert. Ayla has been tutoring her in math, trying to give her a firm grounding in the things she missed while out sick. She built an ice wall to block Spoof's monsters when they attacked.

The "bite" in the level's name notes the single teeth; if the route is done properly, the teeth can be ignored no matter which of odd and even step is used. The 373 route is easily one of the hardest boosting sequences in the whole of Chip's Challenge, on the level of Follow the Glacier Brick Road. Each of the four sections has an identical route, up to a point. Begin: 2U LDLDL into the northwest, and then UR (LDL) DULRULRD2URU (2D) 2D LDLD to come out. This repeats rotated 90 and 180 degrees on the southwest (DLDRD RD in, LU (DRD) ULURLDULDUR 2L UL (2R) 2R DRDR out) and southeast (RDRURUR in, DL (RUR) UDRLDRLU 2D LD (2U) 2U RURU out). Since Chip must now move into the exit in the northeast area, a slightly different path is required: First, move URULULDU in, then leap around RDULUDR, and now instead of the usual route, finish with 3:UDLR RDR (2L) DR and (2L U), which exits the level. For an easier route, Chip can take the first 2 rows of the quadrants and then simply walk through the middle, creating the same path as the above faster route. The final quadrant route can then be URULUD 2R 3:UDLR RD 2L RD 2L UD and then hold right into the exit.
