Aber sie bleibt nicht lange bei ihm und den Vexos, denn sie hat selber gesagt, dass sie nur herausfinden wollte, wo ihr Bruder ist und was er macht. Als sie begann, Bakugan zu spielen dachte sie wie alle Vestels, dass die Bakugan brutal und unintelligent sind. Das änderte sich, als sie bei einem Überraschungsbesuch im Labor ihres Vaters den gequälten Darkus Alpha Hydranoid sah und ihn sprechen hörte. Da erkannte sie, dass die Bakugan Lebewesen sind und Schmerzen fühlen, deshalb gründete sie den Bakugan Wiederstand zusammen mit Ace Grit und Baron um die Bakugan zu befreien. Auf der Erde kämpfte sie gegen Spectra und hatte zur Bedingung gestellt, dass dieser, wenn sie gewinnt, seine Maske abnehmen müsste. Darauf machte er es zur Bedingung, dass sie, im Falle seines Sieges, den Vexos beitreten müsste, also dass sie gegen ihre Freunde kämpfen müsste (Folge 12). Aber da schritt Gus ein, er meinte, Mira sei nicht würdig genug, um gegen "Meister Spectra" zu kämpfen. Stattdessen sollte sie gegen ihn antreten. Mira gewann diesen Kampf, woraufhin Spectra seine Maske abnahm. Am Anfang der Folge sagte Mira noch, dass ihr eigentlicher Held immer ihr Bruder war. Aber später zwang sie sich ihre Meinung zu ändern, nachdem Spectra seine Maske abnahm und ihr offenbarte, dass er ihr Bruder war. Baron beschreibt sie als "intensiv", Marucho in Folge 1 als "hübsch und gruselig". Eventuell hat sie auch Gefühle für Ace Grit, das zeigt sich in Folge 37 ein wenig.
