| abstract | - Erath Steeljourn was a Polydroxol male born in 71 BBY on Mount Molytanium, Sevenna. In his adolescence Erath traveled the Galaxy with his sister. A few years before the New Order, he and his sister spent two years on the planet Trandosha. Unfortunately, the Imperials invaded Trandosha and the Trandoshans turned over all off-worlders as slaves and promised to provide the Empire with a continual supply of slaves from Kashyyyk. Erath and his sister were both subjugated to imprisonment at a plasma extraction plant on Sarapin due to their species' ability to breath volcanic vapors and withstand high temperatures. Soon after their internment his sister fell ill to a plasma infection. The Imperials refused to treat her and continued to push her just as hard, punishing her if she failed to meet their expectations. Erath tried to help her whenever possible, but the Imperials only came to expect more from him. Eventually, his sister died from the completely curable condition. Saddened terribly by this loss, Erath vowed revenge on the Imperials. After a few months, Erath managed to get permission to go to the base's cantina. His first week at the cantina, Erath spilled his life story to the Caamasi barkeep and tragically saddened the barkeep offered to secretly train Erath in self-defense. Erath in desperation and knowing that this knowledge could be his ticket off of the planet eagerly agreed. A few weeks later, he overheard some of the stormtroopers the next table over talking about changing posts. After one of the guards was drunk enough, he left the bar and Erath discreetly followed and killed him, shapeshifting to don the dead trooper's armor. For the next day, he was the perfect stormtrooper and eventually he got commed about leaving the planet. Erath left the planet on the Imperial Kappa shuttle and killed all of the crew with his bare hands during the hyperspace jump. He then proceeded to alter the course at the first jump point, jettisoned the dead bodies, and fled to Alderaan. Upon landing, he was greeted and once he explained how he came to acquire the shuttle at Alderaan's customs office he was introduced to Adrian Verana. He was quickly trained to be a commando, and agreed to work for the Alderaanian Resistance investigating the Sarlacc Project. He was a shapeshifter, usually taking on a humanoid form 2.3 meters tall. Regardless of shape, he always massed 200 kilograms and had silver "skin." He spoke Basic, Polydroxish, and Dosh. He usually fought unarmed but used spears as needed.
