A seasoned officer, G'mtor had a deep facial scar from his right temple to his chin. During the Borg Invasion of 2381, G'mtor welcomed the Chancellor aboard the Sword of Kahless and reported the progress of the battles, including reports from Federation and Romulan space indicating battles at Nequencia Alpha, Xarantine, and Jouret. Martok asked how many ships they had ready for battle, and G'mtor reported one hundred seventeen gathered at Qo'noS and another three hundred sixty-one planned to meet at the rendezvous coordinates. Against four hundred ninety-two Borg cubes, G'mtor insisted they already had an advantage because they were Klingons. General Goluk let Captain G'mtor handle the details of marshaling the fleet into warp speed as they set off from the Klingon homeworld. Once they reached the large Borg armada, G'mtor oversaw the operations of their ship, ordering transphasic torpedoes fired upon enemy vessels.
