He then became a Jedi Lord of the Grand Council, only to abandon the Order completely with the onset of the Great Jedi Schism to live with his people in seclusion. Despite his humble beginnings, Iban rose to become the founder and first ruler of the Kingdom of Maar, defending the worlds under his protection for several decades with swift action. He was the husband of Maliah Aggo and the father of Rezan, Zehra, and Aya Zatar; a lesser known fact was that he was also the bastard-born son of Emperor Dorian Fel, from whom he inherited his Force-sensitivity.
