Omega-Xis can also transform into different weapons by using Battle Cards. In the Mega Man Star Force anime, Omega-Xis uses Predation (プレデーション Predation?) to "consume" a Battle Card and temporarily transform into it. This only takes a few seconds, but skilled enemies can use it to attack Mega Man before he can use it. Predation was removed when Geo Stelar starts using the Star Carrier, increasing the speed to use Battle Cards and making it like the games. In Mega Man Star Force 3, as an effect of wearing the Hunter-VG, Mega Man's left hand is now normal, with a design similar to Omega-Xis. The Mega Buster is now more traditional in design as well.
