  • Gork and Mork
rdfs:comment
  • As these emotions begins to manifest within the Realm of Chaos, they form into twin deities which nearly every Greenskin would instantly recognized as Gork and Mork. These two Gods of War embodies that species cunning and brutality. In the Greenskins use of words, Gork is brutally cunning, while Mork is cunningly brutal.
  • Tier: Likely 2-B | 1-B Name: Gork and Mork Origin: Warhammer 40,000/Warhammer Fantasy Gender: Unknown Age: Unknown Classification: Ork gods of war, Warp entities Powers and Abilities: Reality warping, Time manipulation, Spatial manipulation, Immortality (Type 4 and 8), Exist beyond the laws of physics, Incorporeal, Acausality, Higher-Dimensional Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Telepathy, Being brutal but kunnin', Also being kunnin' but brutal Speed: Omnipresent within their realm Lifting Strength: Immeasurable | Immeasurable Stamina: Unknown Range: Likely Multiversal | Likely Hyperversal
  • The Orks believe that Gork and Mork are personal Gods; i.e. they will offer divine aid to those Orks who ask for it, if they are found deserving, but it does not matter which of the two Gods an Ork prays to, since they are essentially interchangeable. However, if a distinction were to be made, it could be said that Gork is the favoured God of the average Greenskin as the manifestation of the physical power that defines the Orks, while Mork is the favoured deity of the Oddboyz, the cunning Orks who do more than just fight to keep the Ork species moving forward to the next battle.

Weaknesses: Unable to manifest their full power outside of the Warp. Usually too busy fighting each other to work in tandem. Key: Warhammer Fantasy | Warhammer 40,000
To put it simply, Gork is the embodiment of brutality and close-quarters combat, whilst his twin Mork embodies cunning and the use of unconventional tactics of warfare. As these distinctions can readily be seen between the Orcs and Goblins, it is very common for Orcs to worships Gork's brutality over Mork's cunning, just as much as Goblins prefer Mork's cunning over Gork's brutality. Usually however, most Greenskins can never understand the difference, and at times consider the twin Gods as one of the same. Nevertheless, these twin Gods of War are always readily worshiped by all Greenskins in almost equal measure, with many Shamans having the ability to interpret the Twins wishes and demands. Often these messages are ones of war, with many Tribes following the Shamans instructions of going to a particular location where other tribes shall gather and form into another Waaagh!

The greatest of the Ork Warlords, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, the Ork who unleashed both the Second War for Armageddon and the even more brutal Third War for Armageddon, is currently considered the Prophet of Gork and Mork. Ghazghkull and his Orks believe that the twin Gods provide him with the information to unleash strategies that will finally give the Orks victory over the Imperium and all their enemies -- which basically includes every other thinking being in the Milky Way Galaxy. Rumours abound that Ghazghkull intends to call for the Ragnarork, the Great WAAAGH!, the final apocalyptic battle in which the Orks would prove their worth before the eyes of their violent and primitive gods.
