Freakazoid's only appearance in a Christmas production was the segment "In Arms Way". The short finds Freakazoid trying to do his Christmas shopping, having unfortunately waited to the last minute to do so, and in particular cannot seem to decide what would be the right gift for his girlfriend Steff. While Freakazoid is busy with his shopping, he is unaware of Arms Akimbo's crime spree that is going on at the moment. Fortunately, Freakazoid eventually runs into Akimbo at Chochkey's department store and, after they argue about a play in last year's superhero/villain softball game, manages to put a stop to Akimbo's crime. Later, Freakazoid then that he should just tell Steff that he himself is her Christmas present, but his friend Sergeant Cosgrove replies that he should just get her the perfume.
