However if you try to empty another safe the gold amount will appear as '0000'.

You might have thought that Uncle Scrooge's Super Strong Steel Safes, weighing in at eight hundred pounds, would be fine drop gags. But we had to ask: How can they be heavier? While going to get the other number, Mai is captured by the Russian Mafia and the vehicle guards are killed. They interigate her but she won't talk and while the police are attacking, she escapes and gets into a Subway Station and their is Wright about to commit suicide, but when Mai is walking she looks at him and he looks at her, and Luke decides not to commit suicide but is stopped by Mei and while three Russians are trying to take her back to the mafia, Luke beats two of them and kills one of them in return for her saving his life. He beats two more of his former teammates, who try to take Mai to the police captain, who is working with both the Russians and the Yakza. He takes Mai with him as he gets new cloths and a hotel room and asks her why they want her. As she explains, he begins to realize why he must protect her, because whatever they need requires a combenation. After a gun fight between Luke and the Chinese, Mai is recaptured. Soon after a gunfight in a Russian bar, the Mafia leader's son is Luke's prisoner and Luke has a list of the numbers that are the combenation to a safe that holds $30 Million. He then gathers his old team and tells them that they will get an equal amount of the money if they help him rob the building where the safe is. After several teammembers are killed, Luke goes to the safe and shoots the rest of the team, who were about to shoot him, except the captain, who he shoots in the shoulder and tells to open the safe. They take the money and the captain is put with the mafia leader's son. Luke then robs the mayor and takes every teammates phone number and calls the last teammate and the most dangerous, Alex, who reclaims Mai and meets with Luke for an exchange. Luke challenges Alex, but before they can start, Mai shoots Alex in the leg and Luke finishes him. After this Luke releases his prisoners and adopts Mai and pays the Chinese and Russians to leave them be.

By the rules, a runner is safe when he is entitled to the base he is trying for. Umpires will signal that a runner is safe by extending their elbows to their sides and then extending their arms fully to the side. For emphasis, an umpire may fully cross and extend his arms several times to indicate safe. Verbally, the umpire will usually simply say "safe". If a close play occurs that may have appeared to be a putout, the umpire will also call a reason for the safe call, such as "he dropped the ball" or "he missed the tag". What was bugging me, I thought, was the complete and utter silence, except for my own steps of course. It was not surprising that the house was quiet, considering it was past midnight, so it must have been something else. I finally placed my finger on it and realized what was bothering me. The house was empty. My parents were out doing God knows what, since it was their anniversary, and my younger brother was sleeping at his friend’s house. It was just me and my younger sister, but she was fast asleep in her room. It was the raw emptiness of the house that permeated every corner and was now nibbling at my paranoid brain. I was very groggy so I easily pushed the feeling off my head and I opened the door to the bathroom. I turned on the light and my eyes squinted. After an alleviating few moments, I flushed the toilet and turn on the faucet to wash my hands. The frigid water hit my hands, sending all sorts of impulses up to my brain. All of these lights and the cold water against my warm skin put my lethargic state to a stop. This is not good, however. Have you ever been in an empty dark building, when all of the sudden, your mind starts playing tricks on you. You start getting paranoid and scared and you don’t even know of what. This wouldn’t be happening if I was tired, but because my mind had become active, these feelings are able to grow and make me feel uneasy. I walk to the foot of the stairs, looking around, trying to avoid objects in the dark when I place my eyes on the door. I can see parts of the front door through the foyer door but not the lock. My mind starts to wander. “Have you locked the doors, Luke?”, “Is the front door locked, Luke?”, “Luke, Luke!”, “The door, is it locked?” “Have you locked the door tonight?” Now I know what you’re thinking. Why is a seventeen year-old guy being a pussy and just standing there. But hear me out. There is something about tonight that has me upset. I’m paralyzed across the room from the door. I can’t see if it’s locked or not but I don’t dare to check either. It’s dark and it’s lonely in here and I can’t move. I start replaying every single horror story and scary movie in my brain, to the goriest details. My brain is fucking with me big time. The trek across the room now seems like miles of dangerous distance. I won’t venture into this jungle of horrors also known as my living room, I simply won’t. There are killers behind the furniture, right outside the door, waiting for me to walk out into their domain, waiting for the right moment to come at me. I slap myself mentally. I start bargaining with myself, to convince myself that I am not a coward. “I’ve left this door unlocked plenty of times and nothing’s ever happened.”, “I live in Cranford, the whitest, richest, small town in all of New Jersey. Nothing ever happens.” I reach the conclusion that leaving the door unlocked is smart because I’ll be saving energy and I’ll be reaching my bed faster, falling asleep sooner. I walk up the stairs and across the room, rather quickly, and slide into the comfort of my bed. I cover myself with the blanket and sigh in relief that it’s all over. “Have you locked the door tonight?” I push that thought away as fast as it came to my mind. I already dealt with this and my choice was obviously the better one. I’m perfectly fine and everyone is perfectly safe. In fact, you know what? I probably did lock the door, so I didn’t even have to think about all of these scenarios. Everything is fine. I reach a sleepy state and am cozy and warm in my soft bed. I slowly fade to sleep. My world is finally in order. I do not regret my actions, because even in the remote chance that I did leave the door unlocked, what is the worse thing that could happen?

  • Safe is a 2nd season episode of House which first aired on April 4, 2006. Melinda, a young immunocompromised heart transplant recipient, goes into anaphylactic shock in her home clean room. The team has to deal with her increasingly severe symptoms and her wish to rebel against her mother’s over protectiveness. Meanwhile, the relationship between House and Wilson becomes increasingly strained as Wilson continues to live with House after separating from his wife. The episode is largely an interaction between the medical mystery, where House interacts with his team, and the main sub-plot - Wilson's recent separation from his third wife. In the beginning, House's involvement in the case is solely due to the fact that Wilson is living with him and, in the end, House can't solve the case without Wilson's help. Although almost every episode explores the relationship between House and Wilson, in this episode the relationship is put under the magnifying glass when Wilson has to spend all his off hours with House as well as working next to him at the hospital. In most cases, it would be the host in this relationship who would find stress in the situation, but House is flying through what would otherwise be an inconvenience. Instead, it's the guest who gets stressed out having to put up with House's deliberate antics that seem destined to drive him away. However, as Wilson later says out loud in The Social Contract, House may be a good friend, but he's not the type of guy to let you cry on his shoulder and tell you everything is going to be okay. In this case, Wilson is under the delusion that everything will soon be back to normal as soon as he can get his own place to live. It's House who has to snap him back to reality - that Wilson's third marriage is over too, but everything is going to be all right despite that. House's mechanism for doing this is trying to start a prank war. In ordinary circumstances, these two ultracompetitive Type A personalities would go out of their way to outdo each other. Had House not been crippled, they would have been doing it on the golf course or the jogging track. However, given the options, House all but dares Wilson to prank him by assuring him that he will feel better once he does. Eventually, Wilson takes the advice and proves House right. By comparison, the medical mystery just trots out some tropes that get explored on the series time after time, particularly the tensions between teenagers and their parents. It's only the excellent acting work of the guest stars that makes this interaction watchable at all. In addition, Jennifer Morrison and Omar Epps also get to stretch their acting skills as Cameron and Foreman start to assert themselves.
