| abstract | - Webwood Spiders live in and around the Shadowthread Cave[[:File:|[, ]]] in northwestern Shadowglen. They possess a weak poison along with their basic melee. At one time Gilshalan Windwalker had come from Darnassus to study them, but he has since departed. Though much of the corruption has been erased within Teldrassil, these spiders suffer much more deeply from the corruption than the other nearby wildlife. They are becoming a danger to the night elves and pose a danger to the forest. Though it is thought the corruption is from magic, it is revealed it has been bred into them by Githyiss the Vile.
