  • Cathrine Duval was the 16th Governor-General of New Englia and the first Governor of South Englia Province. Duval started her career at the University of New Englia where she taught Sociology. That eventually took her to running for governor in the newly created province of South Englia. Despite her lack of finances, she won and served 21 years as Governor. In 2858, she won the election for Governor-General and took over an ailing budget from the Preston Administration. She has been credited with increasing that deficit by spending money on expanding social services and infrastrcuture in the country. By the end of her second term, her approval rating was around 40% and she lost the election to Hans Eikman. Duval retired to her home in in Hulstra Province and died two years later of a heart
