A passing Victoria tells Eric what she has just witnessed. Eric and Victoria come out of The Woolpack just as Val falls and cuts herself. Val snaps at Kerry when she steps in to help her. Eric helps Val home, where he tends to her bleeding knee with gloves. The scenario upsets Val, but Eric remains strong as he tells her that she needs to face things head on. He urges her to consider a support group. Elsewhere, Finn gets a chance to shine when Declan takes him on in the office. Charity is not happy that he's made this decision without her. Also, Chas despairs when Debbie thinks she's blown it with Pete.
