Holocaust soon began harassing Lance and his family to the point that he feared the safety of his life and the ones he loved. Lance ran away in order to protect his family. He decided he would search for Static hoping he could help him find a way to support himself. On his journey Lance occasionally used his abilities to help civilians when ever the oppurtunity presented itself. Lance soon found his way to Bludhaven and not to long after his arrival he encountered Holocaust. Lance used all of his power to defend himself but was defeated and kidnapped once again by Holocaust. Lance was later saved by the Titan's Delta where Bombard quickly grew fond of him. Not having anywhere to go Red Star offered to let Lance stay at the tower were he will sometimes assist the Titan's when possible.
