Manchester Black is a British anti-hero with powerful telepathic and telekinetic powers. He is the leader of The Elite and brother of Sister Superior. He has also been affiliated, albeit briefly, with the Suicide Squad.
Black was created as a foil for Superman, along the lines of Wildstorm's Authority. He first appeared in the award-winning story "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way?" in , by Joe Kelly and Doug Mahnke.
