He was the founder of the government known as the Declon, established twenty-four years after the Battle of Yavin, and served as its first and only Magisterial. He led a failed insurgency against the New Republic. After this, Linn discovered a Sith holocron on the Sith-controlled world of Ygtep. Somehow, he unlocked his latent Force-sensitivity by handling the holocron and learned the ways of the dark side of the Force, joining Darth Xana's Sith Order. However, Linn was not truly loyal to Xana and had only joined the Order to betray him and take control of the Sith for himself. Renaming the Order as his Sith Empire, Linn once again attempted to conquer the galaxy. This attempted coup ended with his death on Ygtep. Linn had an unusual relationship with the Jedi Master known as Doktuar Gallif. The two were enemies, but both held a measure of respect for one another. Whenever they encountered one another, Doktuar would attempt to lead Linn away from the dark side of the Force, attempts that were inevitably resisted by Linn. This cycle would continue until Linn's death, when Doktuar finally gave up on redeeming him.
