- The Ultimate Armor (アルティメットアーマー Arutimetto Āmā?) is a secret armor for Mega Man X that bestows the most all-around fighting power in any of the games in which it appears. Because it appears in so many games in the series, it has the most recurring traits of any of X's armors.
- Ultimate Armor is a specialized type of armor designed for use with Cyborg Guy's cyborg body, protecting Guy and increasing his power. Guy is rarely seen outside this armor, only discarding it on formal occasions. Like the ID Suits on which it is based, Ultimate Armor can enter an "E-quip" mode to add a helm and power canisters for use with Hyper Mode.

Guy is rarely seen outside this armor, only discarding it on formal occasions. Like the ID Suits on which it is based, Ultimate Armor can enter an "E-quip" mode to add a helm and power canisters for use with Hyper Mode. Guy's Ultimate Armor was mechanized by Zonuda in the aftermath of his battle with it, and it was ultimately erased when Guy used Purification, lost his cyborg body and became an Evoluder. From then on Evoluder Guy would wear ID Armor, an upgraded version of the ID Suit bearing a near-identical appearance to his Ultimate Armor.
