| abstract | - Gargovich is a characters from the episode "Painter's Egg-Cellent Adventure". He was once appreciated by the Tsar by giving presents to him. However, a man called Ivan Ivanovitch replaced his status with his beautiful Easter eggs which also replaced Gargovich's gifts to the Tsar. He is unhappy about this and wants to revenge. He is also probably one of Gargamel's relatives. In the episode, he casts a spell on Ivan's chicken, Kiev, making it loses its magic ability of laying colourful eggs. He wants replace Ivan's role by letting Ivan fails to give the Easter eggs to the Tsar on time. Meanwhile, the Smurfs agrees to help Ivan to paint the eggs and save Kiev from his spell. When Papa, Hefty, Brainy and Clumsy are gathering some ingredients for Kiev near his home. He spots them, Clumsy accidentally tells Gargovich that they are helping Kiev and Ivan. So he cast a spell on Papa, Hefty and Brainy into eggs and Clumsy escapes away. In the next morning, when he thinks that Ivan has failed, Ivan still can present the eggs on time. Gargovich cannot believe Ivan can make another Easter egg without Kiev, however, he later finds out that Painter Smurf is the one who helps Ivan paints the egg. he soon casts a raining spell to wash away the egg's colour. The Tsar is shocked about this and feels that Ivan has been cheated and lock both Ivan and Kiev up. Meanwhile, Clumsy calls the remaining Smurfs go to his home to rescue the cursed Smurfs. At his home, Painter fools him by painting some pictures of some Smurfs, he thinks that those are the target and destroys them, however, he does not know that the real Smurfs are hiding and waiting to attack. Finally, he is defeated by the Smurfs and turned into eggs by a spell, thus removing the curse on Papa, Brainy, Hefty and Kiev. He has a cat calls Azraelovich and it is probably one of Azrael's ancestors or relatives.
