  • Shadowsong Shrine
rdfs:comment
  • Shadowsong Shrine [[:File:|[, ]]] was a ruin-covered hill in western Azshara. It was haunted by the ghosts of the highborne, who also roamed the surrounding landscape looking to quench all intruding life. The shrine shared its name with both Jarod Shadowsong, commander of the resistance during the War of the Ancients and Maiev Shadowsong, older sister of Jarod and the famous warden who was held responsible for the captivity of Illidan Stormrage after his betrayal at Mt. Hyjal. The shrine might have been named in honor of the siblings' deeds during the War of the Ancients or it might have been the location of their original home.

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm. Since the events of the Cataclysm, the night elves and the Alliance have taken the Shrine, sweeping away the ruins that once covered it and replacing them with a large tower populated by humans from Northwatch Hold under the command of Captain Grunwald. The subzone no longer is named as Shadowsong Shrine, but has now been incorporated into Talrendis Point, with all evidence of the Shrine, including its ghostly inhabitants, removed.
