They are forced down by Moon spacecraft. The Space Force soldiers are brought before a court. It is explained an experiment by the lunar scientists inadvertently caused the devastation on Earth. The lunar scientists stop the experiments immediately, and all is returned to a peaceful relationship. Major Barton is commended for resolving the matter amicably, possibly averting a terrible war.
