His last appearance to date was in the Season 1 finale episode, Reveille (episode) where Gibbs contacted him, hoping to get information on the terrorist that had taken NCIS Special Agent Caitlin Todd, NCIS Medical Examiner Donald Mallard and Medical Examiner Assistant Gerald Jackson hostage but Synder had nothing, insisting that Mossad was like the Mafia in a sense that they'd never trust anyone outside the family.
