Dawodu established the first website on Nigeria's socio-political issues called Dawodu.com in 1998 leading the way to the establishment of other similar websites on Nigeria issues. He also established the first website on the history and people of the old Benin Kingdom when he established the edo-nation.net in 1998 and provided the first FREE email service from a Nigeria Organization since 1998. He was a pioneer member of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) in Nigeria in 1987.[citation needed] He is a graduate of Medicine(MD) from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, of Law from University of London/Queen Mary (LL.B and LL.M) and a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School with an MBA. He is board certified in the medical specialties of Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, . He is also a diplomate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is currently an Associate Professor of Pain Medicine at Albany Medical College.
