  • It's midnight at Castle Frank N. Stein and Igor is forced to open the door for a guest. Unfortunately, it's the brutish form of Mick C McTosis, a Scottish rabbit who has come for a hat. Professor Frank N. Stein pleads ignorance until he is informed that it is Mr Cuddle Bunny's headgear. A distraught Frank reveals that he has had it for the last ten years, ever since Cuddle Bunny went missing after a visit to the castle. As Stein wonders when his favourite writer will return to claim his hat, Igor sneaks off. Chuck D. Head notices this, following him to the disused south west tower. An anguished cry from inside the room rings out and Igor reveals that Mr Cuddle Bunny, his prisoner for ten years, has escaped. As Igor explains that he kept him locked up to stop him writing any more of his "terrible books", another cry fills the castle, this time from Stein. McTosis has removed the hat's glass casing and shoves the professor inside it. He then makes a claim to Cuddle Bunny's fortune by ramming the hat onto his head. Before Chuck can intervene, Cuddle Bunny appears and asks for calm. Mr Cuddle Bunny suggests that they sit down with a cup of cocoa, but McTosis can't stand "thae milky drinks" and Stein orders Chuck to retrieve the hat. In an rush, the Scottish bunny trips over Igor and a struggle for the hat begins between the two of them. Instead of either of them winning, the hat flies out of their hands and into Chuck's bandages. McTosis follows it in, closely followed by Stein and Igor, leaving Chuck extremely distressed. The struggle proves to be fruitless, as the hat falls out of the commotion and straight into Cuddle Bunny's arms. The situation becomes even more hectic when McTosis introduces Mr Timothy Twitch to the party. He was once Cuddle Bunny's friend but, following a rare skin disease, the hamster is now bitter and vying for Cuddle Bunny's fortune. The rabid hamster is determined to claim the hat and reveals that, after his fur fell out, his career in children's books was over. Stein tries to throw the two villains out of the castle, but Chuck's attempt is foiled by Twitch latching on to his finger. The reanimated corpse is more successful at repelling McTosis' attack, headbutting him in the "grunions". Shocked by the violence, Cuddle Bunny is all to happy to hand over his hat to McTosis, the fortune with it. Chuck isn't ready to let everything go and throws Head between the pair of them. The hat lands on the skull's head and both of them land in the fire, torching the hat. With no way of claiming the fortune, the two intruders leave the castle, with McTosis receiving no payment for the failed job. Later, Stein learns of Igor's capture of Mr Cuddle Bunny but is over the moon to find that his favourite author has written 643 more books in captivity. Igor is less pleased, especially when learning when Cuddle Bunny wishes to stay, and heads off to jump in the moat.
