| Synopsis | - Captain America is assisting his inventor friend Alan Tremont develop a television that allows them to look into the future and see a world at war. They are interrupted by Alan's sister Nanette who is leaving to spend the night with a friend in Central Park. When they resume their work, the screen brings up a picture of Central Park where a strange device has appeared, Captain America immediately recognizes it as some time travel device from the future. Soon they get a call from Nannette's friend who tells them that she never arrived for their scheduled meeting. Suspecting something wrong, the two rush to Central Park they find the device gone and discover the cab driver who drove Nanette recovering attack. He tells them that Nanette was kidnapped by a man named Wolf Turb.
Alan recalls that Turb ran the sanitarium in New Jersey who wanted to marry Nannette, but Nanette refused. They rush to the sanitarium and are refused entry by the security. They are sneaked in by one of the patients who take them to a device much like the one in central park. They spot a man leaving the device and attack him when they soon realize that he is not Wolf Turb. The man introduces himself as San, a time traveller from the year 2548 who has come to the present to stop Wolf Turb from conquering the world. He explains that Turb is a mysterious tyrant from his own time show stole a time tower to travel back in time and rule the past.
The trio then enter the Time Tower and follow Turb's trail, taking them back in time to the year 1780 where the learn from some colonial soldiers that Turb betrayed them to the British before fleeing when his plot failed. With an army of Red Coats attacking, Cap and the others rush back to the Time Tower and follow the trail to the next point in history, the year 1649. There they learn from Dutch colonials that Turb also tried to betray them to the Duke of York, and when an attack is launched on the colony, they once more flee to the Time Tower.
They finally catch up to Wolf Turb in the year 3550, where a war is raging on between two factions of humanity. During the battle, San is crushed and killed under a pile of rubble. Allan and Cap spot Wolf Turber fleeing in the Time Tower once again. While they rush to the tower themselves, Allan is separated when more rubble falls between him and Cap. Cap gets into the Time Tower just as Turber activates it. Cap it taken prisoner as Turber hurtles forward in time with Allan following his trail.
Turber finally stops in the year 200,000 AD where he stops and forces Nannett out into a world that is in it's final throws of life. Cap breaks free from his bonds and attacks Turber, knocking him down with one punch. The blow causes Wolf's head to shatter open revealing him to be a robot. With Nanette safe, they both use the Time Tower to return to their own time.
- A man calling himself the Dream Master has begun a cult where he offers people pleasant dreams, attracting unhappy people from all walks of life. This also includes the principal of the Lee School, Mr. Bell. Bell leaves the office so quickly he cancels an office with Jeff Mace and Betsy Ross. Having heard enough of the Dream Master, Jeff insists that they see what he is all about. When they try to get an audience in their civilian guises they are refused.
Changing into Captain America and Golden Girl, the pair scale the walls surrounding the Dream Master's compound. Snooping around, they find people in blissful sleep and in another, people begging and giving up their material wealth to the Dream Master to be given sleep. Those who can pay have some of the Dream Master's dream dust put in their eyes putting them into a state of deep sleep. Looking around some more, Cap and Golden Girl find people in a cell in the dungeon that are in a state of waking nightmares. Although the people are violently attacking the pair of heroes, thinking that they are monsters, Cap and Golden Girl let them loose and they attack the Dream Master. However the Dream Master is able to defend himself with his dream dust. However, when Cap and Golden Girl try to stop him from fleeing, the Dream Master tosses dust into their eyes forcing them to have nightmares about being attacked by Genghis Khan. However, before he can kill them the mob chases the Dream Master away.
When Cap and Golden Girl shake off the effects of the dream dust they find the police have arrived. Following after the mob they find that the Dream Master has ironically locked himself in his own cell to save himself. However, before they can go in to get him, the Dream Master escapes through a secret passage way. When they try to go after them, an explosion knocks the two heroes back, closing off the passage. With the caper over for now, Cap and Golden Girl resume their civilian guises and return to school for their meeting with Mr. Bell, only to find him fast asleep on his desk.
- Skip McCoy is called to the carnival where it appears that Christine Blade appears to have been accidentally killed by her knife throwing husband Rudolph. However Skip realizes that he is really investigating a murder when he sees that the target that Rudolph was aiming for were marked with a knife already.
