His full formal name began Faisal ibn Saud ibn Turki, and was a descendant of Saudi Arabian royalty, being seventy-ninth in line for that nation's throne. His brother, Abdullah Prince, was eightieth. When giving his name, Prince says "and so on and so on" in lieu of his full name. As of 2296, Prince held the rank of Ensign, and was assigned to the Starfleet mission on the Federation protectorate world of Obsidian. He was an accomplished shuttle pilot, and was able to safety land when a sudden sandstorm caught him and five others by surprise while searching for Romulan infiltrators on the planet.
