Body | - After reviewing the data and player feedback, we remain concerned that on-demand burst damage remains too high in PvP. After investigation, we determined that the on-use PvP trinkets are a major contributor to extremely high burst output. As a consequence, in the near future we will be applying hotfixes to smooth out the damage provided by these PvP trinkets. In the case of the Gladiator's Badges this means cutting the amount of primary stat or PvP Power provided, but also cutting their cooldown in half. For the Kor'kron and SI:7 manuals, the cooldown of those trinkets will remain unchanged, but the amount of stats provided will be reduced and the duration of the buff will be increased. The overall damage provided by these trinkets should not be affected; only the burst they are capable of providing.
For example: The Dreadful Gladiator’s Badge of Victory will shortly provide 2553 Strength once every minute, instead of 5105 Strength every 2 minutes. Please note that due to limitations in hotfix technology, the item tooltips and buffs will still incorrectly display the original stat value of 5105.
These are the trinkets that are currently slated for adjustment:
- We are aware of the possibility that certain PvE trinkets could become more attractive for PvP in the wake of these hotfixes. While that is somewhat unlikely given that adopting those items would represent a significant loss of PvP Power and Resilience, we will nonetheless keep a close eye on the situation and make adjustments to the appropriate items if necessary. It is also possible that it could become too difficult to land reasonably consistent kills in PvP. If that proves to be the case, then we currently plan to increase the effects of the Battle Fatigue healing debuff to compensate, which is an adjustment that we’ve been considering for some time. On the other hand, if burst damage remains too high after these changes, we are prepared to take additional steps as needed.

- In the Seattle Aquarium they don't use blue. They have a wonderful large pleigxlass display case that one is able to walk underneath and through it. There are jelly fish of every size there who seem to be flying like parachutists through the water. They are so translucent. The jellyfish float from side to side on a wave of a current. They also use different colors to shine through them. It is so beautiful. Such an interesting creature, but don't touch it because it burns/stings like crazy. We hurt them if they get too close to our nakedness and don't really allow them to truly experience our transperency/nakedness up close. If they try to touch us or interact with us, we strike back and cause them pain; thus forever keeping others at arm's length. Never really allowing them to truly get to know us or experience us on an intimate level. They become afraid of us and we are afraid of them. They can only see our beauty from afar, but will never know how beautiful we truly are. Many will see the transperancy as ominus and frightening Stay back! or I will lash out at you with my words or actions inflicting upon you great pain and agony that will teach you a lesson to never try to get to know me. This keeps us from interacting with those who most deeply need us to get to know them and get close. We must not be afraid of the initial stinging and become like the clown fish who moves easily around the anemone because they have become immune to the neurotoxins by a protective mucus covering. The clown fish and anemone are symbiotic. They need each other. The anemone's protect the clown fish from predators and the clown fish cleans the anemone's tentacles. We need each other too!! We must not allow the stinging or toxins to put us off from those who desperately need us as much as we need them. Sometimes we don't realize how much we could need that person who seems to put us off! Be persistent like the clown fish! Don't back down because of hurts. Don't be afraid of their initial attempts to keep you away. Just respect and love them and enjoy the mystery of who they are. In the Seattle Aquarium they don't use blue. While rings are worn on fingers, necklaces are strung around the neck, and many other items must be held in the off-hand, trinkets are generally small enough to realistically fit in the pocket. Trinkets are itemized unlike any other type of armor. Whereas most high level armor will give moderate bonuses to four or five of the seven or eight stats useful to your particular class, a trinket will generally provide very large bonuses to just two stats. Typically, one bonus will be a flat always-on bonus, and the other will either be a use effect (that you must activate) or a proc (which will occasionally activate whenever you attack or are hit). In a PvP context, "to trinket" refers to using a PvP trinket.
- Trinkets are little objects to collect and display. Some trinkets can only be created by Ringers, and are occasionally given out as prizes in tournaments or as rewards for other contests. Trinkets are not given out upon request. Do not ask an Ocean Master for a doll or other trinket. You will not get one. Trinkets from Brigand Kings, sea monster hunts, and various expeditions can be used at a trading post, where they can be exchanged for various designs and other assorted goods.
