He always buys Corellian when he can, he keeps himself apprised of what's going on when he's away from Corellia, and he's not shy when it comes to expounding on the great deeds of other Corellians or their contributions to the galaxy at large. Despite this, Tav has always had a strong desire to see the rest of the galaxy and experience all the weird and wonderful things within it. His natural aptitude as a pilot is considerable. It's often said that Tav can make even the most ungainly bulk freighter dance like a starfighter if he's behind the controls. While the saying is an exaggeration, no one can deny that Tav is able to do amazing things when he's flying. He's been offered highly lucrative positions from crime lords and legitimate businesses alike to fly for them full time, but Tav consistently turns them down. Instead he prefers to offer his services as an independent charter pilot so that he has the freedom to go where he wants to go and do what he wants to do. He sees every new charter job as a chance for a new adventure, although he's not above smuggling if times are tough and the cargo is right.
