  • A spell used to summon elementals, usually water elementals, or elemental conglomerate of air and water. Though a presumably it could be used to summon fire, wind, or earth elementals as well. They are excellent creatures, and will never turn upon their creators. The element of water was chosen because it is persistent as in the state of erosion, and is the opposite of fire, which seems to be the element that orcs favor. (W1ManH 31)
  • This spell will summon a single Elemental of Earth, Air, Fire, or Water to appear within 6 yards of the caster. The caster must attempt to control the Elemental by making a test against WP. If successful, the Elemental will obey any simple commands given by the Elementalist. Otherwise, it will behave completely randomly (see Summoning Elementals). The required ingredients depend upon the type of Elemental to be summoned:

abstract

If successful, the Elemental will obey any simple commands given by the Elementalist. Otherwise, it will behave completely randomly (see Summoning Elementals). If the caster is slain, the Elemental is instantly destroyed. Otherwise, it will remain for 1 hour, at a cost of 18 Magic Points. The summoner can prevent the Elemental from dissipating at the end of this period by spending a further 18 Magic Points per hour.
