In the early stages of the Brotherhood Horus and Andria join the cause, and moved their family to the secret planet The Citadel. There Alex trained under his mentor Ogmis Cantrel. When Alexander was just an Apprentice he met Laura who was Ogmis Cantrel other Apprentice. It was love at first sight and when they both gained the rank of Acolyte they decided to get married. Alexander and Laura had a son named Samuel Cain. Alexander has a younger sister, Alicia Cain. After Alexander obtaining the rank of Acolyte he joined the Sleepers secret intelligence organization. After becoming a Sleeper he set off to spy on the Galactic Empire, there he joined the Imperial Academy and graduated in the top of his class. He went into the intelligence field and work his way up to the rank of Commander in the Imperial Intelligence.
