- The Great Pyramid is a four-sided or 'pyramid'-shaped stone structure built thousands of years ago in Egypt, supposedly by the Ascended Master, Thoth. It is said to have been built by some way of levitating the stones into place. Others have speculated that it was built by teams of slaves over a number of years, though, this speculation doesn't take into account the vast amount of craftsmanship that went into the building of the Great Pyramid. Another theory of how it may have been built is that extraterritorial beings may have came to Earth to aid in and design the building of the Great Pyramid.
- Its construction had been observed by anthropologists since 2769. They followed all of the proper time travel protocols as established by the Temporal Accord. - In 1908, a young Indiana Jones visited the pyramid with his tutor Miss Seymour where she tested the youth on his knowledge of the Great Pyramid after they scaled one of the two smaller pyramids situated next to it, though Jones would rather have climbed the tallest. It was at the base of the pyramids where Jones first met Thomas Edward Lawrence, who stayed with the pair overnight after their guide had run off with their camels. Five years later in 1912 he was introduced to Sallah Mohammed Faisel el-Kahir at the site. There the two boys scaled the Great Pyramid together.

When Lando and Vuffi Raa returned with the Mindharp, they were surprised to learn that they had spent nearly four months inside the Great Pyramid, a stretch of time that seemed to them to last just a few hours.
