| abstract | - Rezn'a is the native world of the Rezn'arian species. It was originally inhabited by unicellular species and microscopic organisms. Over millenia, these organisms evolved into Rezn'arians. The species started as hunters. During the Mandolorian Wars, renogade Jedi hid on the planet. The Jedi adapted to the cold, snowy climate and made peace with the natives. Shortly after the Jedi Civil War, technology was brought to the planet by explorers, changing the world forever. Rezn'a gradually turned from a primitive planet into a technological mammoth. Heavily populated cities were created and governments were established. For thousands of years Rezn'arians grew and the planet advanced in every way possible. Floating became popular on the planet around 500 BBY. Chief among these was Mar Shi'a, which became a major import/export center. Matteo of the Tung clan rose to power around this time. He became the first King of Rezn'a and established Yndez'a as the Capital City of Rezn'a. Many of the villages became large, floating cities under King Matteo and the economy changed drastically to meet up with the current Galactic standards. The Rezn'arian Mining Company was created in 35 BBY. The RMC specialized in mining rare, Rezn'arian crystals used in tasks such as lightsaber creation, power sources, and for selling. Rezn'a became part of the Trade Federation but removed itself after the Naboo crises. A small space battle was fought over Rezn'a during the Clone Wars with the Republic being victorious. No record is known of it being occupied during this time. During Galactic Civil War, Rezn'a was used as an Imperial Outpost but was never officially part of the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, Rezn'a was free of any Imperial occupation. The government denied being part of the New Republic. In 79 ABY, the Jeeno invaded the planet and destroyed most of the cities. The libertion wasn't much better either. Even more damage was created when the Jedi fought them off the planet. Most of the cities where in ruin and the recovery was expensive. Rezn'a was one of the planets that fought for control of Karkia during the Karkian War. After winning the war, Rezn'arian society was reorganized into the Rezn'arian Federation.
