His commercial work includes spots for such companies as Taco Bell, McDonald's, Ford, Buick, Budweiser and Lipton. He has also worked on concerts for such talent as Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Meatloaf, Bette Midler, and Barbara Streisand. From 1995 through 1997 and again in 1998, James was the project lead at Digital Domain. Other companies he has worked with include Sony Pictures, Touchstone/Disney and Stan Winston Studios. James' recent film work include Live Free and Die Hard (which features Tim Russ) and Paramount's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (featuring Pasha Lychnikoff. He is currently working on Angels & Demons, the prequel to The Da Vinci Code which opens a week after Star Trek.
