| abstract | - Layla's Pokemon Layla isn’t picky at all when she gets Pokémon. She normally lets the Pokémon decide if they want to be with her and if she battles them and then lets them join her. Ninetales Ninetales is Layla’s main Pokémon. Layla has had Ninetales since she was born and treats her like a sister. Ninetales is different the most Ninetales because she is black and silver. Her body is black while the tips of her tails, paws and muzzle is silver. Ninetales hates Pokéballs and travels along side Layla. Ninetales acts like Layla’s voice of reason most of the time. Ninetales most used moves are; Fire Smash, Toxic, Hidden Power, Iron Tail, Flame Tackle and Flame Tail. Mightyena Mightyena is Layla’s other mostly used Pokémon. She got Mightyena as a Poochyena when she was 10 years old and loves her greatly. Mightyena (with the help of Ralli and Luna) was the one that convinced Layla to be in Contests and she is the one that she mainly uses in her contest battles. Her most used attacks are Take Down, Toxic, Hidden Power, Hyper Beam, Iron Tail, Shadow Tackle and Shadow Ball. Arcanine (Growlithe) Arcanine was a Growline that she got from Paul when he abandoned it. Layla adopted it and welcomed him to her team. Growline the evolved into a Arcanine after a battle with Paul and he trusted Layla faithfully. He is the main one that Layla rides when she needs to get somewhere fast. His mostly used moves are Fire Fang, Bite, Extreme Speed, Iron Tail, Flamethrower, Secret Power and Overheat. Ampharos (Flaaffy) (Mareep) Layla first got Ampharos as a Mareep that saved Ninetales. Mareep joined Layla and the gang and soon evolved into a Flaaffy and then in a battle with Team Rocket she evolved into an Ampharos and became super powerful. Ampharos acts like the leader for the other Pokémon when Ninetales is not around. It’s mostly know moves are Tackle, ThunderShock, Thunder Tail, Thunder Wave, Cotton Spore (as a Mareep and Flaaffy) Power Gem (as a Ampharos), Thunder Smash, Thunder Punch and Flash. Milotic ( Feebas ) Layla got Milotic as a Feebas from a group called The B-button League. Wallace convinced her to use Feebas in the Wallace Cup and Layla was almost laughed off the stage. But Feebas felt Layla’s devotion and evolved into a Milotic. Milotic along with Mightyena and Togekiss became the most fragrant used Pokémon Layla used in her contests. Her mostly used moves are Captivate, Aqua Tail, Rain Dance, Hydro Pump, Attract, Aqua Ring, Water Gun, and Water Pulse. Togekiss Layla got Togekiss from Princess Salvia in The Princess's Pokémon Contest! Who wanted Togekiss to compete in more Pokémon Contests and she acts motherly tord the other Pokémon. Her moves are Hidden Power, Hyper Beam, Light Screen, Protect, Sky Attack, Extreme Speed, Aura Sphere, Aerial Ace and Façade. Cresselia Cresselia was a Pokémon that Layla and the others meet in Sleepless In Pre-Battle! When a bad Darkrai was giving people nightmares Layla and the gang went to find out the truth. After stopping a Team rocket scam they find Cresselia to stop Darkrai. Cresselia seemed to have bond with Layla and even gave her a ride on her back. When Cresselia disappeared Layla wondered why she didn’t get a stripe. It was also thanks to Cresselia that Layla won the Sinnoh League. He known move are Aurora Beam, Psycho Cut, Psycho Shift, Lunar Dance, Hidden Power, Protect and Attract.
