The song was featured again in "Day 1: 6:00pm-7:00pm" when Phil Parslow is trying to jog Teri Bauer's memory. The band was formed in 1994 in Vancouver by singer and guitarist Natasha Thirsk, guitarist Dallas Kruszelnicki, bassist Jen Deon and drummer Jason Lajeunesse. They worked with producer Darryl Neudorf to release their first album The Dirmitts in 2001 which featured the "Fix and Destroy" track. Their second album, Get On, was released in 2002, but the band split up in 2003.
